Tax Benefits
Your generosity can make a difference — and may qualify for a tax deduction.
- Donations made to, qualifying charitable organisations in Kenya may be deductible from taxable income under Section 15(2)(w) of the Income Tax Act (Cap. 470), subject to the requirements of Kenyan tax law.
- To support a tax deduction claim donors should retain appropriate documentation including evidence of the donation,and the recipient organisation's relevant tax-exemption documentation. Donations must be used exclusively for charitable purposes and must not provide a private benefit to the donor.
- Tree of Life Trust, will provide an official acknowledgement/receipt for donations received.
